Altadrine Fat and Carb Blocker is an orange-flavored fiber drink that contributes to weight loss and weight control by inhibiting carbohydrate breakdown and fat absorption. Altadrine Fat and Carb Blocker reduces the absorption of both fats and carbohydrates.

The ingredient acting as a carbohydrate blocker is a standardized extract of the seeds of the white kidney bean (Phaseolus vulgaris, or “common bean”), which can delay digestion and absorption of carbohydrates by inhibiting an enzyme, alpha-amylase, responsible for the digestion of carbs in the small intestine.
